Creating a program of study
Programs of Study pack a lot of information and planning on one page. In short, you are aligning your classes in high school with your college plan of study, so that you will not waste time duplicating learning. Likewise, all CTE classes offer articulated college credit. Knowing what credits you are earning now, may save you time and money later. Also, getting a visual of the coursework involved for certifications, degrees, apprenticeships and military careers can make them seem more attainable. At the very least, you will know the timeline for completion and can consider alternative plans.
