Unpaid work experiences are a great way to gain valuable industry experience for your resume. It will also allow you to decide if you are really interested in that area of work. If you are "hired" for unpaid training, your work hours can be substituted for school hours (as long as they occur during the school day), but you must submit time sheets weekly and you can't exceed 40 hours total (unless you obtain a new training plan from the teacher.)
You must complete the Training Info Sheet, along with the Instructor Recommendation form. Return those forms to the School to Career Coordinator. Note: Allow ample time for the STC to gather all the insurance information before work |
