WORK BASED LEARNING/JOB SHADOW EXPERIENCES
Purpose: Work-Based Learning experiences are available in each CTE Pathway. Through a variety of WBL experiences students see, firsthand, how classroom instruction connects to the world of work and future career opportunities. Experiences include, but are not limited to, apprenticeships, career fairs, field studies, guest speakers, job shadows,and student internships.

Purpose: A work sample is a great way to showcase your skills and previous experience in a related task or competency.
Directions: For each sample, provide a reflection statement, either in paragraph or bullet format that contains:
• A brief description of the sample item and the context in which the item was created
• A detailed list of the competencies developed or revealed by the sample.
